Feed Our Scholars MARCH 2026

1 in 5 children in Duval County are food insecure. School meal programs provide children with the healthy meals needed while school is in session, however, this year-round issue becomes especially evident during school breaks, making spring break one of the hungriest times of year for many children. 

Feed Our Scholars™ addresses  this problem by providing a week's worth of meals to students for the spring break holiday. Students  leave school with bags containing a meal for breakfast, a meal for lunch, and an afternoon snack for each of the days they will be out of school.  Our goal is to help students return to school fresh and ready to learn following a well deserved vacation without the frustration of hunger.
